Sam & Ben

[June 14, 2014]

Hey everyone! I'm Sam and I would love to tell you a little more about Ben and I.  Keep reading to learn more about our relationship and why we can't wait to share our lives and advice with you.

How did you meet?
Ben and I met at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA.  This was an all girls school and Ben was one of the only guys on the campus.  We started out as friends with a class together.  I ended up taking him as a friend on a date when my best friends invited me as a fifth wheel on their double date.  After dinner, a movie, some juggling, and a foreward kiss, we realized that we actually liked each other as more than friends and decided to date.

When did you get married?
We got married on June 14, 2014 at the chapel on the campus of Wilson College.  We wanted to get married there since it was where we met.  It was a beautiful day and I was so happy to have my family and friends there.  Alli was one of my bridesmaides and Noah did an amazing job playing the music during the ceremony.  He was even able to put together appropriate music for gymnasts to tumble down the aisle.

What is your favorite aspect of marriage?
Sam: My favorite thing about being married is having someone to support everything I do.  Ben truly is the Watson to my Sherlock.  He always makes sure I have everything I need to be happy and successful each day.  He keeps me balanced with his calm demeanor and ability to think clearly when things don't go the way they are planned.  In short, he is my perfect opposite.
Ben: My favorite thing about being married is having my best friend to do everything with.  I get to share every experience with her.  I like having a companion in all the things I do.

When did you decide to start a blog/podcast about marraige?
One night Ben and I were discussing how we are such a boring couple and were brainstorming activities we could do together for fun.  One of the ideas was to do a blog/podcast/or youtube channel together.  The next day, I hung out with Alli and Noah and they were complaining about summer boredom.  I shared the idea with them and we decided we could do it together as a group.  One reason I think the podcast is so perfect is because we can highlight all the amazing aspects about being married in a humorous way.  Marraige can be challenging and frustrating, but it can also be the most rewarding thing to share your life with someone else.
